Prescott Welcomes the Yuletide Season
Dated: December 22 2020
Indeed, it is the most wonderful time of the year. As soon as December rolls around the corner, the city of Prescott, AZ welcomes the yuletide season with a bang. Prescott is highly-renowned for its all out decorations, gleaming Christmas lights, and picturesque scenery when the city becomes laden with snow. Known by many as the “Christmas City” in Arizona, Prescott lives up to that name by hosting some distinguished events all month long to celebrate and bring in the Christmas spirit.
It is not a secret that the holiday season brings more tourists to Prescott. This is due to the fact that a lot of people want to experience Christmas in all its glory. The city becomes more lively, hospitable, and a knock-out in impressing more people during the holidays. With the cooperation of the local government and the residents, the city is able to light up trees surrounding the courthouse and the plaza. It is particularly an amazing sight to see especially as the snow glistens and the lights become brighter.
This past year has been different than previous years when it comes to bringing in the holiday cheer. Many annual events such as the parade and the Courthouse Lighting celebration have either been cancelled or done virtually. This pandemic has taught us that despite the big changes that we have experienced, we will still rise above and celebrate Christmas the best way we see fit.
The Annual Courthouse Lighting Celebration may be done virtually this year, but this doesn’t dim down the holiday light ignited in everyone’s hearts. This has ultimately taught us that despite the challenges that come our way, we are still resilient and celebrate the Christmas season with a smile on our faces.
Being able to see the Christmas decorations laid out all around the city, it is no doubt that the city is still hailed as Arizona’s Christmas City, no pandemic can stop that. If you have been feeling low and in need of some holiday cheer, you wouldn’t want to miss the gorgeous lights, lovely decorations, and overall Christmas spirit that Prescott has to offer. So don’t miss out. The Stephanie Woods Team Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate BloomTree Realty 928-237-4435
