Prescott Organizes VA 2KM Walk

A tribute to veterans has always been one of Prescott’s many annual events. Being the home of hundreds, if not thousands of veterans, this city in Arizona commemorates and has high regard for Veteran affairs. 

 

Who wouldn’t? With great sacrifice and honor, our veterans have fought countless battles for their countrymen, so they deserve only the best that life has to offer. 

 

The number of homeless and uninsured veterans in the US have become alarming. They have served and risked their lives for the greater good which is why they don’t deserve the situation they are currently in. 

 

Different veteran programs organized by non-profits partnering with government sectors aim to provide stable homes and nurturing environments for our dear vets. Countless housing initiatives and soup kitchens have been established as well to help our veterans get back on their feet. 

                                                     

With that being said, Prescott is organizing a VA2K Walk and Roll. This event aims to support homeless veterans and promote their health and wellness. The event organizers welcome everyone to join in. Here are the details for this event:
